Double Trio

It's the end of our "Trio" theme week so I thought we'd double up. And what more recognizable group of six is there than the Original Six? Lucas Daitchman has a little something for everybody in this collection.

Canada Goes Outdoors

With the NHL now considering outdoor games in Montreal and Ottawa for their Centennial in 2017, is it too soon to start thinking about jerseys? Lucas Daitchman doesn't think so. He imagines a Stadium Series match-up between the Canadiens and Senators.

Electric!

This isn't the first time Lucas Daitchman has incorporated electricity into a Lightning concept, but it always impresses me. I particularly love this as a third jersey — perhaps with the black and blue reversed? Subtle but electric!

Identity Swap

Here's a fun Freak Out Friday idea — Lucas Daitchman is mixing NHL team identities. He's got a Stars set inspired by the Oilers, a Hurricanes set inspired by the Canadiens, a pair combining the Red Wings and Flyers. And there's more where these came from.

Snow-Capped Shoulders

Inspired by the Avalanche's primary logo, Lucas Daitchman has created a series of Colorado jerseys with unique shoulder yokes meant to imitate a snow covered mountaintop. It really kinda works.
