Identity Swap: Fins and Horns

Lucas Daitchman's work is showing up here on Icethetics almost every week — and he still has literally hundreds of great concept submissions waiting to be published. Not sure I've ever seen anyone with so much to contribute. But nevertheless, Lucas has our Freak Out Friday covered with another clever Identity Swap — this time with a San Jose Sharks uniform kit inspired by the New Jersey Devils.

Mighty Remix

Classic colors. Modern crest. Lucas Daitchman helps us imagine what it might've been like had the Ducks kept their colors when they changed their name and logo in 2006. Could've been amazing.

T-Birds Retake

To design their uniforms last summer, the AHL's Springfield Thunderbirds hired a guy who got his start right here on the Icethetics Concepts page. It's a great look but Lucas Daitchman wanted to try out a different idea.

Black Stars

Green looks good on the AHL's Texas Stars, no doubt — just as it does on their NHL affiliate in Dallas. But Lucas Daitchman wanted to see what they'd look like in black. And really, that works too. What do you think?

Default Classic

I like Lucas Daitchman's caption on this Winter Classic concept — "what if the NHL managed to annoy us again in 2018?" After all, the two teams most likely to play in any given outdoor game over the last decade have been the Blackhawks and Penguins. The default teams. Ugh.
