New Uniforms All Around
/It's a record-breaking day. The NHL and Adidas will reveal new uniforms for all 31 teams today. That demanded something special on the Concepts page. Something that acknowledges every team. So here we go.
Lucas Daitchman has been one of our most prolific contributors for a while now — with more than 200 unposted submissions sitting in my inbox at this moment. I'd like to shrink that number a bit by giving him the floor today — one concept for each team plus a special bonus at the end. Enjoy!
Unused in D.C.
/In 2000, the Washington Capitals trademarked a couple of new logo designs but never actually ended up using either one. Jamie Robertson has used one here to help us imagine what might have been.
Patriotic Caps
/Another day, another new artist. Today it's Matt Campbell with a set of Washington Capitals uniforms featuring a mix of modern and retro elements.
Bronzed Caps

I'd be stunned if the Washington Capitals ever again make a departure from their patriotic red, white and blue color scheme. But if they do, I did always like the black, blue and bronze from the late 1990s. Ryan Christensen has given them a redesign with that palette in mind.
