The Ducks probably shouldn't have changed their colors in 2006. But if they were determined, something like this concept by Brandon Cockeram would've been a much better option. Imagine how they'd stand out wearing green, gold and orange in today's NHL.
There are some NHL jerseys out there that could use some fixing. This week we've been taking care of that. Here, Brandon Cockeram has an idea for the St. Louis Blues, who get new home and road uniforms this fall. The only problem I see is the similarity to the old Penguins template.

Here are some San Jose Sharks jerseys, but devoid of orange. If you think about it, orange actually makes no sense. What about a shark has anything to do with the color orange? This color scheme of teal, grey, and black looks much nicer.
I've never seen a black shark with a teal head before, so I'm not sure the color argument stands up. However, I would agree this is a great color scheme.
